We are very excitied to announce the arrival of our latest addition to the team in Malvern East – Osteopath Dr Mia Chepanidis.
Mia joins The Osteo Collective after spending time treating in Melbourne’s north west suburbs and rural Victoria.
Mia has a special interest in:
- Neck pain and headaches / migraines
- Lower back pain
- Sporting and Dancing injuries
- Exercise Rehabilitation
- Women’s health and pre & post-natal
Mia’s passion for Osteopathy developed throughout her years of growing up playing sports and competing in Calisthenics competitions. This sparked Mia’s fascination of the human body, where she learnt the importance of preventing injury and maintaining bodily function through optimising healthy movement.
Mia understands the impact that pain and dysfunction can have on our daily lives, and strives to form a treatment plan to address all factors of the pain experience and lifestyle considerations. This inspired Mia’s holistic approach in managing acute and chronic pain, finding passion in assisting patients return to activities of daily living and achieve their goals. Acute and chronic pain may arise from poor posture, overuse, traumatic injuries, spinal and joint dysfunction, or arthritis. Mia aims to provide Osteopathic treatment to assist the body’s natural healing process and support its interrelated structure and function.\
